Wheel washers
At construction sites, mines, quarries, cement plants and other industrial facilities there is produced a large amount of mud and dust, which are then dispersed on the wheels of vehicles.
Dirt on public roads constitutes potential threat to its users (Article 91 of the Code of Offences provides for it the fine up to 1500 zł or reprimand), on the other hand it causes increased vehicles’ soiling and deterioration of surrounding’s aesthetic, which adversely affects the image of the investor and the company contracting works. Pollution removal is particularly important in high traffic areas, such as city centers, and entrances to national and provincial roads. The other issue is the wheels and chassis cleaning of the vehicles leaving the landfills.
According to § 12 Regulation of the Minister of Environment on detailed requirements for the location, construction, operation and closure for the different types of landfills: "The landfill, which is predicted for storage of biodegradable waste shall be equipped with facilities for washing and disinfecting of vehicle wheels leaving the facility.
In the past the primary landfill device for wheels' cleaning was disinfectant pool. Wheels and chassis’ washer enables to achieve better results of cleaning and disinfecting. The washing process is carried out by spraying water at high pressure (2-2.5 bar) from the nozzle located in the floor and at sides of the device. The installation turns on after entering the vehicle in the area of photo sensors’ operation. Streams of water are directed to the approaching vehicle and cleaning time is longer without extending washer’s construction. In order to provide proper operation (and because of security reasons) vehicles’ speed should’t not exceed 5 km/ h. After cleaning the water supply is shut off automatically.
The main advantages of our washes include: high efficiency in dirt removal, automatic operation, the possibility of washing vehicles wider than standard ones and closed water -circuit (majority of the offered models are equipped with scraper; its task is to remove the sludge from the tank with water.) Offered devices occupy small amount of space in the road (2.2 m), which allows to locate them easily at the factory or construction site.
